Bi sexual in high school?

I am 14 years old and about to go into high school this fall, I am also a bi sexual girl . My first question is are people more accepting of your sexual preference in high school then middle school? And my second question is for some one who isn't bi what if your best friend told you she was bi what would you do please be honest
