When he tries to chew on something he shouldn't, reprimand him with a stern "no" and pick him up if you need to. Then bring him one of his toys and praise him massively when he plays with that. Especially for teething puppies, I recommend trying to find some natural bone. Rawhide is sometimes dangerous, as they can crack off pieces and it isn't digestible, and plastic bones can still shed pieces. If you get him bone, make sure its beef. Any other type can splinter.
