MS BITS or MTECH VIT... pls help (10 pts)?

Hi, I am currently working in an IT company.Here i am being offered MS from BITS, pilani costing aroung 1.4L and M.Tech from VIT costing around 85k. Both the universities are offering full tiime degree and i heard both these degrees will not get me a big hike in here. I am planning to do either one of these just to switch to teaching profession in the near future. Since both these universities are very good, i'm very confused between them and the degree aswell. Kindly assist me as to which one to choose or give your preference with reason. Any help much appreciated...
