DO plantar warts spread just by contact?

Plantar warts have nothing to do with wearing slippers or going barefoot. The virus that causes them is the same virus that causes all warts, and it's found everywhere, including most peoples hands. You only develop warts if your body happens to be susceptible (Of course it doesn't help if you insult and annoy your Creator.) Most people get them in childhood are are then pretty much immune.
